I personally have heard much about this issue in the news, but have honestly not been very intersted in it. After reading your blog entry, the first question that came to my mind was. "why were there 8-13 year olds on a college campus/locker room?" As I read further, I couldnt believe that this issue had been going on, yet no one said anything. Made me also wonder the real reason why nothing was ever said.. Was it because the shool's repuation would suffer? Or because many would lose their prestigious jobs?
As I kept on reading, I also wondered what were the state laws and how they should be enforced. Also, how their should be a nation wide law and not just in certain states. These are issues that occur everyday, yet goes on without being said. However, when someone is bold enough to say what went down and the truth comes out, everyone freaks out. People need to understand that these issues are only becoming worse and worse and need to be stopped.

Blog #3 Sext Me Baby!
I personally sexting is an issue that is uncontrollable. I believe that this issue would not occur if more girls simply made the decision of not sending the picture. Once the picture is in his own, he can do whatever he wants with it, whether it is right or wrong. There are many other things you can do to make him smile that do not include sending a picture.
Everyday technology is improving more and more, making this issue more common. I do not believe that the problem is the parents, the kids, or the technology. It is simply the senders fault. If you dont want to be put out there, dont put yourself in a situation in which could cause you to be exploited.
I believe that the new law in South Florida is a bit radical, yet is a good way to control the issue. However, this "crime" is being done by so many that is practically impossible to catch everyone. I believe that the law should pertain to those who are 18+ and not young teens.

Blog #2 Safe Haven Laws: Decriminalizing Parental Surrender of Children
When I first read about these Safe Haven Laws, I realized I had heard about it before, but did not know much about it. As I read this I began to wonder why these laws had not been payed more attention to. There are different Safe Haven Laws in each state and whether anyone agrees to the idea or not, the law should be made known, however, not made a big deal.
I personally believe that these Safe Haven Laws are an easy way out for parents. It may even casue the parent to want to "try it out" and see if they could take care of their child or not. I do not believe that a child is a piece of merchandise where you can return it if you like it or not. Having a child is a decision that comes with responsibility, as well as, knowing that when things get tough, you do not quit and just give up on your child.
I could understand why some parents would agree with these Safe Haven Laws. Many may argue that this would allow their child to have a better life style; most likely one that they could not provide with themselves. I personally disagree with this because I believe that as a parent, no matter how unstable or how horrible your finances may be, that child is yours and you should do whatever you can as a parent in order to help that child.
These Safe Haven Laws are just basically giving parents a free ticket to give up their child. As far as the age is concerned, there are Safe Haven Laws that are up to 15 years old. I believe that this is ridiculous. Many would disagree and say that if a child is ill or has mental/emotional problems, that these Safe Haven Laws would help them. Instead, I believe that, that is what family is for. I understand that not everyone has a family, but as a good parent you would use all resources in order to care for that child and not have to give them up.

Blog #1 Welcome To A Bloggy World Fall 2011
I personally am not the biggest blogger in the world, but have grown to like it. Blogging to me is like a diary, where I can express my thoughts and feelings. I have come to the conclusion that I will make my blog publice, due to the fact, that I am a realistic writer and can possibly help others with my thoughts and opinions. I most likely would not have made this blog because although it can be fun, I feel as if it is time consuming. However, I do plan on expressing myself and my experiences through the course of this blog. I personally have been through many experiences in my life, which have caused me to be the person I am today. This most likely will reflect
I have previously written a blog before and it was in my computer applications class in high school. Our teacher taught us how to make a blog, think of a theme for it, and how to update posts. I chose to write my blog about sweets and titled my blog "Dessert Your Guilt". I personally have a passion for bakeries and dream of opening one up one day. In my blog, Dessert Your Guilt, I talk about the top places in Florida that have the best desserts. Whether it be cakes, cookies, frozen yogurt, pastries, or chocolate, I talk about all of this in my blog. Unfortunately, I stopped blogging due to laziness, but have reconsidered it, due to the fact that this has become careers for some and in my opinion an easy moneymaker. I mean common, nothing can be easier than to get paid for writing, if thats your passion.
